WHAT WE DO

As members of the world's largest and oldest brotherhood, the members of Essex Lodge carry out the all important works of Fellowship, Charity, Education and Leadership. By participating in this ancient system of self-improvement we are taught invaluable lessons that, when put into practice, enrich the personal, professional and family lives of our members and their loved ones. "Taking good men and making them better" is one way which we describe our work. 

BECOMING A MEMBER

If you are interested in learning more about Freemasonry or becoming a member please contact us and we will help get your questions answered. Open to men of adult age of any color, any religion, nationality or social standing, we are an active and energetic Lodge with a young and growing membership. Belief in a Supreme Being and the desire to learn are all that are required.
